But unfortunately, some of them are not that delicious. I think it is because of the different taste buds and recipes. But now, let me share with you the recipe of my Aunt who nearly builds her business here in our town. I bet that you will probably forget your name if you try to taste it. Kidding aside, I am excited to share it with you guys.
Oh well, let me first introduce to you the face of my Aunt's Pickled Papaya.
Some of her Atsara has the big cuts of the carrots.
Okay. Let me now put the things needed on how to cook or make this awesome and delicious
Atsara of the Filipinos.
Ingredients:
1-kilo Papaya
1/2 kilo of carrots
1 kilo of brown sugar
a half gallon of vinegar (white)
Ginger
Onions
Garlic
Bell Pepper
Raisins
1 gallon of Pineapple Juice
First things first. All you have to do is to prepare all the ingredients and make sure that the papaya is grated. The carrots, onion, garlic, bell pepper and ginger are also grated and mince it well. Ok, after that wash your papaya and see to it that there is no excess water on it. If the papaya is ready, place it in a container and do the next step. The next step is to mix the minced carrots, onion, garlic, bell pepper, and ginger in a container and try to cook it together with the half gallon of vinegar, a kilo of brown sugar and add 2 cups of water if necessary. After 30 minutes of being cooked, put the pineapple juice and try to taste it. After it boils, place the grated papaya and let it sip the juices you made. Then, wait for a minute to cook it well. Taste it and you can sell it to your friends and colleagues!
